George Wong
Managing Director & Principal Consultant
George Wong is a Registered Management Consultant (RMC), Certified Productivity Consultant (SPRING Singapore & Japan Productivity Center), Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and Specialist Adult Educator (SAE). He possesses 20 years of corporate experiences at Philips Singapore and Singapore Technologies, and another 30 years of consultancy cum training experiences in Productivity, Innovation and Business Excellence.
Since 1985, George had actively offered his services to the National Productivity Board, Singapore (now known as Enterprise Singapore), first as a pioneer Key Productivity Activist, then as a Singapore Quality Award (SQA) National Assessor and an Innovation & Quality Circles (IQCs)/Team Excellence Lead Judge. He is currently an approved Enterprise Singapore’s Business Excellence Consultant. George had also served as a School Excellence Model (SEM) External Evaluator with the Ministry of Education for numerous years.
The Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) had appointed him as a Resource Person/Technical Expert for its member countries in the areas of Productivity, Benchmarking, Lean Management, Total Quality Management, Benchmarking, Innovation & Quality Circles and Business Excellence since 1997. He was also a facilitator/trainer with the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS), the Singapore Cooperation Programmes (SCP) and the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI) programmes.
George had served actively in the Management Committees of several organisations, such as the Singapore Productivity Association (SPA) and Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF). He was the President of the Institute of Management Consultants (Singapore), Vice Chairman of the Chartered Management Institute (Singapore), Member of the Singapore Innovation & Productivity Institute’s (SiPi) Board of Advisors, and Chairman of the Singapore Polytechnic Industrial Management Alumni Association.
He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Pacific Resource Exchange Center (PREX) Alumni Association of Singapore, with its Headquarter in Osaka, Japan.
